Ducks Over the Lake

Life brings many challenges, including stress, mental health difficulties, relationship conflict, issues of self and identity, and stages of growth and transition.  We are all unique individuals and our reactions and pathways through our challenges are also unique. Working with a sensitive, dynamic and flexible therapist can lead to profound healing, growth and positive change. This is my orientation and commitment to working with people in therapy.

I am a fully qualified, professionally registered Clinical Psychologist (AHPRA, APS, AusPATH), and have been working as a therapist for 20 years.  The last 16 of these years has been in private practice in Melbourne, Australia.  I specialise in working with LGBTIQA+ and other "non-normative" identified people, including gender assessment for transition purposes and integrating and consolidating queer identities.  In addition I specialise in working with highly sensitive and creative people, and in cross-cultural and transpersonal work. I am also a Clinical Supervisor and welcome enquiries for supervision and learning from therapists in the LGBTIQA+ area and generalist psychotherapy practitioners.

I acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation, traditional custodians of the land upon which I practice. I pay my respects to elders past, present, and emerging, and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
